You were a real inspiration to me when you came out to Utah. You see, I’m from a farm on the Red River, just south of Moorhead, Minnesota, and I can relate to your stories of life up there with the Lutheran Norwegians.

Whenever I suffer writers’ block now, I put on one of your stories and marvel at how smoothly you tell them.
